to find a job in Korea?
i suppose i should clarify: how long did it take you to find a decent job and get all your paperwork in order before flying over? it appears to be a last-minute culture.

I was here before I got my job. It took 3 days of phone calls and emails until I got the right offer. After the interview, it took one more day to get the paperwork signed and then I was off to get a visa.
Friends who got it from back home have applied and been in Korea teaching in less than 4 weeks. |

It is possible to apply for, get a job, get the visa and be in Korea in 4 weeks. It just really depends on how long it takes you to get a job that you are happy with ... I was a little bit longer, around 6 weeks but that was because I had a date which was the earliest date I could start which was around 6 weeks away from when I started looking ... I didn't expect to find and be interviewed (!!!) for a job as quickly as I was ... I could have started 2 weeks earlier than I did if I had wanted to ...
