Cheap but decent quality laptops in Jeonju area? Is it possible to find? One that comes with an English operating system? Where can I find one? I don't really care about playing high graphics games. I mostly want to surf the net and upload pics from my digital camera. What price ranges can I expect (ie...W500,000 to W1,000,000)? I can also go to Daejeon, if it helps. Does any one know where to go or where I can find this?

Someone might have a good answer. I know there is an area in jinbuk dong near the Hanguk bank that sells computers. I can't think of the specific taxi directions at the moment...There's also an area around E-mart that have lots of computer stores....

I got my laptop in Seoul at Technomart. It might be worth it to head up to Seoul.....

Edit: I also hear that there is an electronics area near Homever....It's called Technology Mall or something like that......

Just so you know the technology mall is Jeonju is called, 금암 전자상가 . That is the name of the bus stop on that street, so I'm sure a taxi driver would be able to find it.

It turns out that my friend and I were talking about the same place but we used different landmarks to get there. With homever on your right, you walk about 2 blocks. The technology mall is distictive since it's pretty much the only place in town with an archway (I can't think of the correct term) over the sidewalk....
