anyone know if it's possible to extend your E2 visa by 1 day? I can't seem to find a flight out of Korea on the day my current visa expires...

Just go to your friendly neighborhood Immigration office and fill out the same form that you did to get your ARC done, but check the "extension" box on the top of the page.

Ask if they can waive the fee bc you are only staying a day late to get a flight out.

1 )Go to your local immigration office.
2) Take your:
a. passport,
b. ARC and
c. departure ticket.
3) Fill in an application for an extension (generic application form)

You will get an extension until the date of your ticket.
It is free.
You cannot legally work on that extension.

NOTE: no ticket = no extension.

Thanks for the info.

Do we have to show them the actual ticket itself or is a flight itinerary ok?

Also do you know the max number of days they would allow you to extend?
