It is an excellent query about a nation that denies us our basic right (s) to economic self-sufficiency and a sense of dignity.

P.M. Rochie for a much more detailed elboration of his viewpoint, etc..

Saying yes to this question in any form is like saying that you'd call the police on a neighbor that smoked pot.

If it's none of your business, then people should stay out of it. I'm sure we could all find dirt on anyone if we wanted to, that doesn't mean we have a right or even an obligation to interfere.

Let people live their lives -- worry about your own business.

It is Korea, if someone in the same apartment as me is a user I am at risk as the police are not very disriminating. He either stops or gets ratted. Period.

Yeah, that's fair-ish, yer right I suppose, but dude what the #*&# are you doing taking a job with some stranger room-mate? C'mon, man. Dude. Man. Dude. Buddy. Mate. C'mon. Dude. Duuuuuude. Buddy. Keemo Sabe. Chingu. Laddy-me-buck. Old spigot, old fruit, old bean, old chowder. Buddy. Amigo. Mon Amis. Comrade. Buddy, pal, dude, buddy, pal, and repeat chorus. Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on. Dude. Pal. C'mon. Y'know? Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude.
Why take a job like that at all?
Get a job with your own pad. Room-mates are only tolerable if they're lovers, rich, or pre-arranged.

If you do feel the compulsion to snitch, this is where you go.

That's fantastic!! Full credit to anyone who tried to get Blynch booted from Korea and the Burger King steps. Come to think if it, now that BK has moved, does Blynch parade outside the new BK or still in front of the old BK (now Coffee Bean corner)?

You learned the two greatest things in life, never rat on your friends, and always keep your mouth shut...

I always though it was "informant" not "informer"... Confused

Are they one and the same?

So, for example: If you discover your friend is a serial rapist, you need to keep quiet about it?

Just thought I'd ask.

Personally, I think that if things got to the point that you wanted to see someone get busted for something, "friends" is probably not the way to describe your relationship.

According to a rapper named Cam'ron, if he found out his next door neighbour was a serial killer, he'd move out but not tell the police.

I could see myself snitching if someone (especially an innocent) was going to get hurt, but I would stay out of a situation that's a victimless crime.

Sure, there's obviously degrees to this.

But like I said, if you're considering snitching on someone, you're probably not friends, and thus the whole idea of mateship becomes invalid.
