I agree with many posters on this one.

-Fashion (except when it helps you make money...if you are a business man and you need an expensive suit to impress clients, etc.)
-Brand names on kids
-Anything for a dog that is not food/water/vet bills/simple toys. They simply don't need clothing. They have something called 'fur'.
-Soda, junk food.
-Cigarettes
-Alcohol more than a moderate amount
-Plastic surgery
-A car bigger than you need.
-A huge ass TV

Don't you also need fashionable clothes to impress women?

I've never dated a gold digger. Don't set up a false dichotomy. Women who respond to a nicely dressed men (yes, who have "labels" in their wardrobe) are gold diggers. And women who don't are women with some other desirable qualities or lack this negative "gold digging" quality.

Most women I know appreciate a man who can dress nicely, regardless of the degree of avarice that haunts their personality. Can one dress nicely without buying labels? No doubt. But it certainly takes time and an eye. And nice clothes don't just imply "money! have at me gold diggers". A man who notices details also notices other details like a sick or hungry baby or a tiger hiding in shadow. There's a certain evolutionary undercurrent at work that helps drive a woman's emotions.

But in all things there is a balance. I don't know too many women who are impressed by a guy who buys all his clothes from Walmart. Do you know women turned on by "cheap" men? A guy who buys all his clothes at the Ralph Lauren store can also be as off putting to many women. He'll seem vain, selfish, and a poor provider.

Some of the smaller dogs - mainly toy dogs DO need clothes because their fur isn't really thick enough to keep them warm.

I think a lot of things are a waste of money but I am a wife and a mother, so it's natural that i think like that.. Razz

Paying to go to the toilet. Especially when there are department stores nearby. I don't care if it's only 20pence, but paying to pee is ridiculous.

I can believe nobody's mentioned rent yet... paying someone else's mortgage for them each month is probably the biggest waste of them all (unless your boss pays it for you that is Wink ).

Shocked Exclamation

Right, if people can't afford to buy, they should live in hotels. Or pitch tents in the park.

Spiderman 3. I wanted to stand at the ticket counter and rather than letting others waste their money, give me half and I'd save them the rest by tellin'em how boring it was.

Also, that yellow claw game machine (bbobki-kigae?) where men and boys (never seen girls try) waste time and coins and trying to grab a cheap gadget they will never use. C'mon just give me the money and I'll put to real use: choco pies! Can't get enuff of'em!
