|
|
I am covered by national health insurance through my university job and went to the doctor today to get viagra. His fee for the prescription was very cheap, but down the street at the pharmacy the pills cost me about $15 (US) each (288,000 won for twenty pills). Ouch!!!
Anybody know if I got ripped off? Should the insurance have covered the cost of the pills? The reason I ask is because I get pills for some other health related problems (high blood pressure, high chloresterol, arthiritis, bi-polar disorder) every month for about $40 (US) in total.
By the way, I got the viagra at a different pharmacy than I get all the other pills from. I don't know that this is relevant, however.
Also, anybody ordered viagra on-line? If so, did it clear customs okay?
Was it the real deal? Just curious. |

Use a pencil.
Stick it down the hole and it's all sorted.
No need for chemicals. |

This is one of those times you should use a sock. (A username not your own that you can discard or use only for 'sensitive' questions ) |

While I agree with P13 that a sock here might have been the way to go, I can possibly add something.
When my principal found out that my gf was coming he asked me to have her bring some viagra. A very uncomfortable situation. I assumed that this was because the drug was unavailable here. But now I gotta assume that it is simply prohibitively expensive. So perhaps you weren't ripped off.
And no, she didn't bring any. I explained that a physical was involved and that the doctor was likely to discover her gender in the process, and that would prolly stop him from giving her the drugs. |

I remember parts of a quote from a mod some months ago.
The situation was someone and their sock were engaged in an online argument with a second person. Ganging up as it were.
The mod said something to the effect of, ..... X user and X user are one and the same. While we don't have a problem with someone using a sock, they may not use it to support an argument or an attack against someone else. The memorable part was.... we have no problem hanging that person and their sock out to dry.
I personally think socks are fine...if used for reasonable purposes. Sensitive questions being one. |

Hey, is that a Viagra in your pocket, or are you just... ah, fergit it.
Recent scientific studies have shown that Viagra could aid in jetlag recovery, reducing the effects of jetlag by some 50%. In hamsters, anyway. <-- and I'll just leave that line open should anyone want to use it as a setup. |
