Can anyone recommend a good place to take walks in Seoul? I'm not into hiking up mountains, I just want a park or woodsy area for taking a nice walk. Preferrably near a subway station and not too crowded. Thanks!

I'm on line 2 (Edae), but I don't mind going a little out of the way. I have lots of free time.

Seoul Forest is at Ddukseom Station, line 2, exit 8. it's 20 minutes from there by foot. website (all korean) here: http://www.seoulforest.or.kr/index.php

there are tons of ways to get to the han river park. e.g. dangsan station, world cup station (line 6), dongjak station, oksu station, and gwangheungchang station.

Thanks! I checked Seoul Forest on Google, looks like the kind of place I'm looking for. I'll head there on Saturday.

There are mountains all throughout the city. Just aim for one and climb it.

I mentioned originally that I don't want to climb any mountains, but thanks.

I'm just not looking to add mountain hiking to my exercise regime. I just want a nice place to go for a nice, low-key walk.
