| Michael Moore might have the right idea on this one, but he can certainly twist facts. There's a fair amount of outcry over how rosy he makes the (also broken) Canadian system look in Sicko |

True. I found that in Bowling for Columbine he made it seem as if Canadians don't lock their doors, that we just walk around completely oblivious to danger. Not true. Walk around any neighbourhood. The doors are locked. That was a major mistell in that movie which rubbed me the wrong way. |

US medical system is in trouble. The only thing the US government can do is keep putting temporary band-aids on it.
The whole system needs an overhaul. Then again, there isn't any medical system in the world thats doesn't have major problems. |

Very well said. There is no system that is problem free, although, my votes is for the French Social Insurance system.. so far it's my favorite balance of equity and quality. |

Maybe the mistell was in implying that ALL Canadian households don't.. but I can bet you 90% of the homes in my old neighbourhood have their doors unlocked most of the time... and I'm from Windsor! |

I remember one of his movies he talked about the northern irish troubles in passing. He was so simplistic and wrong headed about it, I find it hard to trust his opinions on things I know less about.
I would agree that he is a propogandist, as mamy of these guys are. He does make some good points even if he twists things to get there.
Those videos about 911 are ridiculous. Since when do coincidences make a case. Most of them have been thoroughly debunked also.
It boggles my mind that people believe that the US goverment is capable of organising a conspiracy that would require thousands of people to pull off, then keep it quiet. Bill Clinton couldn't get head and keep it quiet. |

Ah, the inevitable comparison to Nazis. When you can't express an idea clearly, or don't have an idea to express, call the other person a Nazi.
As this was only the third post, I think this is a record. |
So if someone admired Hitler greatly, and attempted to pattern his life after the S.S, only people who couldn't "express an idea clearly or don't have an idea to express" would call this fellow a Nazi. |
