| i've had the displeasure of observing a co-worker who tends to snap violently at work and has a penchant for living like a foul homeless man with hobbies that just make you scratch your head. at first, i thought perhaps he was just a little misguided but overall an ok bloke. as time has progressed though, his filthy habits have worsened, students and staff alike have found him distasteful, and he's become judgemental, launching laughable accusations at others without first examining his own behaviour. it's quite pathetic. to think he's been a teacher in asia for close to ten years is shocking to me. how do these people fall through the cracks? although i suppose this one, in particular, is quite comfortable living deep within the crack, from where he can launch his baseless attacks on others while festering in his own filth. |
I'm sure that description fits more than a few people in Korea like a well-tailored suit (see "Freaky Waygook Contest" thread), but I'll play the long shot here. How bad off is he? Specifically, does he also have Tourette's, does he live in (or perhaps near) Seoul, and does he look like he lives on the streets? If so, then I may have seen this individual quite recently. The person I'm thinking of somehow found his way into a design presentation for a planned art gallery. While this wasn't some top-secret, closed-door event, it wasn't advertised or intended as open to the general public either. Everybody was either there to give presentations or to observe them, or were part of the facility staff. Or. So. We. All. Thought. WWWWWOW!
-- Tourette's (or a mental condition that produces a reasonable facsimile thereof)
-- constant, intense reading(?) of a thick book (wasn't close enough to catch the title)
-- sudden bewildered glances around the room
-- looks of extreme disorientation & annoyance
-- more Tourette's-like outbursts (loud enough that people would stop talking until he was done)
-- grungy overall appearance
-- a rucksack
-- late 30s, early 40s
Oh yeah,
-- a whitey
Everyone was wondering what he was doing there, and he was wondering what everyone else was doing there. |

I'm sure he's all right once you get to know him . How about some capital letters to start your sentences, English Teacher, or did your buddy steal them, the damned guy? |

In real life, I do NOT act or dress up like a dog. It's totally an online persona. I just did it for laughs. Please don't think I'm that far gone. I am really not that far gone. Really.

No, I actually don't have any socks. And I'm a girl in real life.
But I may not actually be anything like what I post as.
And furries are fun.
Aren't they? |

| I'd like to work with yingwenlaoshi. Sounds like a funny guy. We would trade insults with each other back and forth at work...and during breaks he could service me in the restroom. |

I was chatting on MSN with an ex-co-worker of mine from Kuwait and I found out that 3 of my ex-coworkers (1 American and 2 Egyptians) were arrested near Arijan Air Base on charges of spying for the Iraqi insurgency.
When he told me their names, I couldn't believe it; they were the same guys with whom I would hang out with.
It comes to show that you have to be careful of the people you work with. |
You're a good friend.
Have they had a fair trial yet?
What happened to innocent before proven guilty? Or does that not apply in relation to Iraq and the "War on Terror"?
These guys were good enough to hang out with, but not good enough for you to give the benefit of the doubt to? |
