In the past when I have worked for organizations things didn't go well. I'd have a good honeymoon and the turn down gradually. Thrice perhaps. It was disasteful for everyone.
Here there is plenty of opportunity, I think. Job freedom is wild and with working harder, you'll have extra cash. I have another source of income and with that, I am the best off I have ever been even with taxes. Although there are many Koreans making much more money, we are in the region's financial elite.
In the old days, I'd pine for jobs like "network administrator". The IT people are picky, they want lots of experience. Here you can own a PC room and get experience that way. Its an opportunity that I didn't have before. This arrangement has advantages I really appreciate. Working in IT in an organization isn't really that good.
I have an employee in a poor country that does internet work for me. It good to have freedom like that. In an org, you have lots of snags in getting something accomplished or at least doing your job. Rules and power and "stratigery".
If you don't like it here for awhile. move to the beach until its good again. |

Yes, that was abstract, but I appreciated it. |
