I have a bunch of bunch of t-shirts, jeans, sweaters etc that I need to throw out to make room in my bag for more important things, such as Asterix comic books and my empty Coke can collection.
Rather than just throw the lot away, any idea where I can donate the stuff in Seoul? |

Keep an eye out in your neighborhood for large green bins (size of a fridge) with an open slot at the top. These are donation receptacles for clothes, bedding, etc.
Never noticed them until someone pointed one out to me, and now I can't walk a few blocks without seeing one. |

Okay, thanks. Will be on the prowl for the little fellas later on today I guess. Taiwan has the same things too from what I remember. |

Your neighborhood district office (dong or gu) also takes used clothing. |

If you have stuff you might want to donate, the charity "Beautiful Store" has a free pick-up service. They re-sell just about anything, including books, clothes, household items,...
Their website is: http://www.bstore.org/english/index.asp
Their email address is: [email protected] |
