My cat would self destruct if I boarded him in a cage for a week at my local vet. What do cat owners here do? Everyone I know will be off on vacation at the same time as me!

Exactly.

My girlfriend can't travel for that reason.

One of us has to stay behind if the other is traveling to look after the little cacksuckers.

cat sitting !

I for one would gladly cat sit for a week or two... and I'm not alone I'm sure... there are cat lovers here who don't have cats of their own at the moment

you deliver and pick-up, with litter and litter box, and voila !

WIN - WIN

I had that problem with my dog. I posted that I needed a dog sitter, and I had about 5 offers in one day. Should be easy.
NEVER let your pets run your life. You really take vacation at different times for your cat!?! I've flown my dog everywhere I've moved, but thats just money. It doesn't affect how I enjoy my time

I was thinking ahead to our summer vacation, chuseok, Christmas vacation etc...I usually would get one of my cat-loving co-workers to look after him, but we all get the same vacation times, and I think everyone will be going somewhere...

I was curious about what other people did, that's all. I would love it if there were folks who were willing to cat-sit! My cat is kind of a freak though, definitely could not handle having any other animals around...a real 'fraidy cat I've got.

Maybe I will post in the classifieds closer to vacation time...thanks to those who posted for me here!

Hey,

I am a willing catsitter...But I live out of the way in Kongju. Not sure where you are.

Pick Me!

I hope our holidays don't collide. Mine go from June 8 - 15 and again in August.

Cheers,

Michelle

How about hamster sitting?

My son has two hamsters named Coffee and Creamy.

He wants someone to look after them for a while in the Summer.

They are low maintenance and cute.
