OK so I have this cool hemp bag i bought in Nepal. But it only has one pocket. I'm looking to find someone to sew some pockets on the inside and put zippers on them too. Is it possible to find someone in Seoul to do this? Are there such services? Any advice would be greatly helpful. |

Yes, you should be biting your lip, because even though it would be easy to do it yourself, how many foreigners in Korea own or have access to a sewing machine??
To the OP: maybe try your local laundromat - they do alterations and I know that a K-teacher knitted a jacket and then had lining and zip sewn in by them.. give them a try - but you may have to buy the fabric and zips yourself. |

I own a sewing machine but for something like the OP was describing hand sewing is probably the way to go unless you want some ugly seams on the outside of the bag. You could split the lining open (asuming there is a lining) and sew them to the lining but then it is hand sewing to get the lining shut again. |

That should be simple enough for your local dry cleaner. Some might give you the old "opseyo" but I'm sure there is someone local that would happily do it for cheap. |
