[Keepongoing]

On Friday, I was drinking a beer with a younger colleague and he asked me how I felt working alongside much younger teachers who were getting paid almost as much as myself. He referred to a prior teacher about my age who seemed to have a problem with it. The prior teacher felt he should be paid a lot more based on his life expereince and degrees.

My response:

"Well I have never really thought about it and it has never bothered me. I wish I was smart enough at their age to take advantage of this field and opportunities it offers."

I admire ppl in their 20's who are here. They are gaining some great experience and I believe have made a wise choice. This experience will mature them and gain them an expansive perspective of this world. I was basically a misguided and confused young man when I was in my 20's. So my hat is off to all of you taking advantage of this, certainly it will enhance your futures.
