Nice bike. I couldn't make out the make or model but that is one sweet ride. Too bad the movie star, who-ever-he-is, dresses like a dork from The Pirates of the Caribbean set.
He doesn't set a good example for true enthusiasts....
btw, I wanna really get to know the inner-workings and parts of a motorcycle and want to tinker with my Hyosung Mirage 250. But I can't find an online site that provides a manual like someone did for their Daelim bike. Any help or advice? |

Anyone know where i could find the Daelim manuals?
I have also found the manual for a 96 Honda CB400 and the location you can buy a general Honda Manual but I can't find an english copy of the 1997 manual. Anyone have any ideas?
http://www.repairmanual.com/
http://www.themotorbookstore.com/shopman.html
these two sites have just about every book you would ever want on motorcycles (except a bloody 1997 Honda CB400 manual) |

So, I walked into the DMV here in Wonju, hoping there would be someone that spoke some English (because my korean is pretty terrible) and so it goes, there was no one that understood any of what I was talking about. So, I was wondering if you guys knew what the procedure was to deregister a bike and get your original DL back? Any useful Korean terms you can give me? I'm gonna ask my wongjangnim to help, but I just hate bothering her with things like this because she is quite busy and yet always finds time to help me.
anyways, can you guys help me out here, for those that have done this before?
PS - yeah, the bike is sold bigfoot, sorry! |

that is choi min soo.. he starred in one really big drama in the 90s (probably considered one of the biggest in korean tv history). i thought he was so cool back in the day. now he just looks like an eccentric old man with his flaming wardrobe. |

Anyone check out www.auction.co.kr ?
If you look under motorcycles you can find really low prices on gear. I'm not sure about the quality, authenticity or reliability of the sellers, but the prices are really low. A Fox armour jacket for 75,000, a tank zipper protector sticker for 15,000 (30,000 at a store), an Alpinstar leather jacket 150,000, a bike cover for 10,000 (usually 20,000 at a store).
Anyone bought things from Auction? |

Hi,
I am looking to but a 125cc motorcycle. This will be my first bike and would like to know what kinds of questions I should ask, and what things I should look for when looking at bikes. Any help would be great.
Thanks |

Has anyone riding motorbikes here received a speeding ticket? In particular, I guess, those who pilot crotch rockets and who are therefore habitually over the top. I know those automatic, overhanging camera meters can only take a photo of the front licence plate, which a motorbike does not have, therefore making us excempt, I suppose.
Still, has anyone ever been nabbed for speeding? |

No never had a ticket, touch wood!
btw there are a few cameras which take the back plate too, only a *very few* however, so no big deal. |

I was looking at and considering a 1997 Honda CBR400 in Seoul. What would be a reasonable offer for this bike? It's got about 10000km and looks good from the pics. Haven't seen it person yet, but plan to before an offer is made.
Any owners of the same bike that can offer their experiences? |

Has anyone any info on those classic looking Honda motorcycles I've seen around. They look like they have small engins and as if they are based on bikes from the 1940's or '50's, often in beige. Quite delicate looking things really. No info I could find on the net. Are they fakes? Sorry, I've no pictures..
And - what are the best web resources on motorcycles - particularly scooters, I mean for reviews, not 'I love scooters' type stuff.
happy riding. |

I want to buy a motorcycle from somebody. The bike is in a great condition. The guy bought a from the dealers a few months ago but never registered it or took out any insurance on it. He still have the registration papers thought. Would there be any additional costs beacause of the stuff mentioned above?
Thanx |
