For those of you who don't know, he's the guy who created the "fourteen words" in the white power slogan 14/88.

"We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children."

He also put forth the concept of Wotanism, a racial religion based on Norse mythology that would subvert the "Judeo-American/Judeo-Christian murder of the White race."

Lane was a member of the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations, and one of the founding members of die Bruder Schweigen (also known as The Order, a white supremacist gang). The Order was accused of stealing over $4.1 million in armored car hijackings, killing two people, detonating bombs, counterfeiting money, organizing militaristic training camps and carrying out numerous other crimes with the ultimate goal of over-throwing the United States government.

I remember quite a few people on here said it was inappropriate to mock the death of a person, no matter how bad he was. So yes, let's sit here quietly and mourn this man who cared so deeply about the future of the white race rather than laugh about him.

My side to the mocking of the dead was:

#1. One should not expect a death announcement to not be mocked
on a public forum.

#2. If one has previously mocked a death notice on a public forum, then
how in the heck could one expect that a death notice when posted
would not be mocked.

That being said, I would never place a death notice in a public forum with out totally expecting the mocking to begin.

David Lane was a scumbag.

How can you say that? He was a person, just like you or me or Jerry Falwell.

You agree with me, right? We shouldn't be celebrating this guy's death just because he was a terrorist and a murderer who founded a lot of the ideology used by modern-day racists. Am I right?

I'd think he does. After all, don't you remember the tears Jinju shed when Saddam was swinging from the end of that rope? The quiet introspection of a life gone wrong? The intense empathy that flows from his every post like a waterfall of love?

One less scumbag on the planet. I can only hope he did not procreate, but that is probably in vain.

So will you agree with me that it's a tragedy that David Lane died?

I am both glad that he died, and find it excellent cause for ridicule and mockery.

*beep* 'em.
