I read that there are about 6 of them near Hongik University and many more around Ehwa. Do you think they would let me in and welcome me? |

Are you a woman? They do not allow men, even us gay guys. But if you are a woman, they will welcome you with open arms. |

I am a man who likes "Lipstick Lesbians". I just thought it would be nice if these establishments had an "open house" night. I would not try to change or bother anyone, I would just sit back, enjoy my drink and observe the skinship going on. I really don't think these places should discriminate. |

Yet they do. I know, I tried. I launched a lawsuit against the city because they wouldn't let me hide in women's washrooms. It's discrimination, pure and simple. |

People like you are the reason that straight women can't go to that bar in Australia.
You can oggle women on any street in career. Why go and annoy the ones who clearly aren't interested? Just download crap for free from the internet. |

They used to allow men who came with women, I used to go and have a good time. But they no longer let in men at all, as far as I know. I have tried in both Hongdae and Itaewon, and its a no go. Sorry. I dislike it as well, since those lesbians have no problem coming to our gay bars.
There are good tranny bars though, thats sort of the same thing. |

Dude, these places are separate for a reason, mostly to keep the likes of us straight guys out. I like a lesbian as much as the next guy, but respect their right to go about what they do in a private venue. I suggest downloading some porn, flying to Thailand and going to the Eden Club on Soi 7/1 or just hanging around Ewha Uni and watch the chicks holding hands. |

yeah, what an awesome idea op!
you know, when i go to a lesbian bar, and it's women only, i always feel a little let down that straight dudes aren't there to ogle us and act like we're there to fulfill their porn fantasies.
'cause we don't get enough of that in "straight" bars.

I can sort of understand the rationale though. It sucks for the gay men who just want to hang out, but a lot of (straight) guys who go to lesbian bars just want to ogle women. However, women who go to gay bars (straight, bi, and lesbian) generally just want to get their groove on with you awesome gay dudes. Take it as a compliment. |

No, I wont go where I would not be welcomed. I understand that in that environment it would be quite novel and I probably would do some unwelcomed staring. I will respect their desire for privacy. The fantasy will remain a fantasy. |
