I was just reading a thread in which my wise and enlightened waygook compadres were complaining about Korean Christian teachers at their schools. It was full of remarks like 'that's so terrible' and 'that's disgusting, how dare they.'
Just remember, all of you, that Christianity as a force may be dying in the west, but it is stronger than it ever has been accross the developing world.
So enjoy your days as Christian bashers. You call yourselves liberals but time and again it is pointed out that liberalism is the new closed mindedness. |

And what's with people not believing in Santa Claus these days? How closed-minded can you get? Santa brings presents to all the children in the world. How can you possibly object to that? |

Didn't your thread from last night already get deleted once by the mods?
Again, I'll say - the reason people bash Christians is because a small minority feel as if it's their right to try and force their own beliefs onto other people. If they would just quietly worship and believe whatever they want to believe - w/o trying to drag others into their world - then no one would care about them. |

As long as they are not using the bible as teaching material I see no problem with teachers being Christians.
I used to be rather pissed of with the Filipino teachers who used the bible to teach in Thailand. |

To all Christians: I'll show you mine, if you show me yours. Ahhh, you're not interested? That's what I thought. Neither am I. Simple enough explanation for you OP? |

I think its interesting that Christian bashers only bash Christians and not any other religions. Its ok to bash Christianity but its taboo to bash on Islam?
I've yet to read any negative posts about Allah on here. Maybe they are afraid of getting hurt by extremists? |

Wow, congrats. A religion that promises everlasting life for the poor and downtrodden is doing well in countries where life is one hellish episode after another. Would you like more fish to shoot at in that barrel you got there? |

Current events, a lot of threads there attacking Islam.
Ask yourself this. How many Muslims post on Dave's?
Add to that, how many posters grew up in Muslim countries?
For the record I am not a liberal and I think Islam is the worst of a bad bunch. |

Because we are bashing Christians who we push their views upon us in our daily lives. The next time I have a Muslim come to my door, try to act friendly and then give me Christian literature, or use the Koran as teaching material my school will be the first. |

I don't see a really big difference between Christianity and Islam. Aside from how the followers act, I guess it's a little strange that Christianity believes in three gods, one of which they really don't feel anything for. |

I hate how religious people always play the "Sacred Cow" card.
Like, "we can judge you, your compatriots, your moral compasses, and we can even take political measures to impose our will and sense of morality on you, but since religion is a sacred, cultural staple you can never make nasty remarks about religion or question it's validity in a public discourse. No, we can not prove our religion or justify its necessity, except to offer up the fact that its been around a really, really, really, long time. I bet you hate puppies."
Its healthy to question things.
Oh wait, it's not? Crap. Four years of university down the drain.

I'm confused. Are you talking about the Christians or the Christian-bashers in this sentence? It could go either way. |
