If LaBron can lead the Cavs into the finals should people start mentioning him in the same sentence as Jordan? James could make his first finals apperance at 23, the age Jordan was when he entered the NBA.

Is LaBron LeBron's sister?
The guy is amazing.. but he'll have to wait until he's at least 24 to win a championship...

| Maybe parallels with Magic Johnson, not Jordan, would be brought up if the Cavs can win it all. LeBron and MJ are different types of players and I don't think they will ever be mentioned in the same sentence. The East has no shot though of winning this year so like the previous poster said, LeBron will have to wait for comparisons to great players until the West weakens, which is not in the near future. |

LeBron has been mentioned in the same sentence as Jordan since he was 16. Getting to the finals early in his career shouldn't add much to that. In my opinion, there's no good career comparison until LeBron starts rockin the three-peats & winning the scoring title at the same time.
Oh, and cheating on his wife, running up huge gambling debts on golf and poker, avoiding political responsibility for his actions, and berating his inferior teammates in a way that permanently erodes their confidence and boosts his ego.
But yeah, that LeBron James kid's looking pretty good. |

Let's see...
Marquis lottery player single-handedly takes a mediocre midwestern team and turns it into a powerhouse....
Nope. Doesn't sound like anyone I know. |

| Give Bron Bron his props, but I wouldn't call ANY team in the East a powerhouse... |

| Titles make legends. Crowning LeBron before anything but would be premature. |

Don't forget getting his dad killed because of said gambling debts... and chopping off digits with cigar cutters... |

It's a 2-2 series. If they win, they are officially a powerhouse. |

True. But, then again, Magic won it all his rookie year at age 20, maybe 21, with an awesome performance with an absent Kareem for Game 6 of the '80 Finals. Then again, we'll have to wait and see. |

Don't forget Magic was also the Finals MVP for that series. |
