I'm a big fan of Dexter. I happened to see a little article about it on www.tv.com and it caught my interest. Without giving too much away, the idea of the main character and "good guy" being a serial killer really appeals to me. It's definitely blurs the lines between good and evil. Great character development and an engaging plot kept me watching that show over and over again on my computer and on TV when it was shown on Fox tv here in Korea. Season 2 starts up this summer, I believe.

Kyrei, if you watch this show, I don't think you'll regret it!

I've really gotten into that Criminal Minds show. Maybe it's because it's my dream job up on the tele only I'll never be able to work for the FBI being a canucklehead and all.....I suppose the RCMP Profiling division could suit me if I ever decided to really pursue Behavioural Sciences again...hahahaha

Other shows I'm currently hooked on, The Riches....very good stuff.....and On the Lot for total entertainment smut!!

You've never seen Oz even? It's a classic HBO show, basically Prison Break but a lot more hardcore, and I don't think they ever escape.

Entourage has been talked about on this board a lot lately. It's a show about four guys living it up in Hollywood.

I just found Brothers & Sisters, great show. I think its just started here on Korean TV, but i loved it so much that I downloaded instead, and watched the whole first season in 2 weeks. More of a chick show though ...

SBS Drama (Ch. 36??) had been showing Soprano episodes from season 3 and 4 a while back. That was fun, but I haven't seen that show in about a month on SBS Drama.

I'm looking forward to Dexter when it comes back on TV around here. I love the premise - but I'm spending my 1 hour of TV a day looking at Galactica on Fox. I honestly thought it would puff skanky pipe when I started watching it, but it's turned into a bit of a guilty pleasure. It's a damn sight better than the original.

Does Catch On Plus still turn into a softcore porn channel after 11 p.m.?

How so?

Law & order is on NBC.

Battlestar Galactica is on SciFi.

Car chase - okay Cops is on FOX.

Batting .300 is good in baseball.

Have you ever seen Fox on Korean TV? Every time I turn it there, it's either car chase shows, Battlestar Galactica (dubbed or subtitled) or Law & Order. I know what networks they are on in other countries but Fox here shows these three shows nonstop.

Don't forget Dark Angel....

I swear that show is on ALL THE TIME!

They used to show this show with Patricia Arquette I believe...The Korean title translated into something like Ghost in Murder perhaps ( Ichecked on Imbd, it's called Medium). Basically Aquette's character has this ability to get impressions and hallucinations from dead people. But it's not always the way it seems...It was really good and it just disappeared from fox one day....BUT DARK ANGEL is still on Evil or Very Mad

The Sopranos. Back in Canada, I just never got around to watching it. I only started watching the earlier seasons here on Korean TV. Man, I'm loving it! I'm going to have to start picking up the box DVD sets. Also, like Cosmic Girlie, I've really gotten into Criminal Minds.

Yeah, Ghost n' Crime is the Korean title. I was mildly disappointed Fox stopped showing it, but Battlestar Galactica and Law & Order are more realistic.

My wife swore by Ghost n' Crime until I told her that Allison Dubois is a real person who pretends to be psychic, and the show's just being used to make people believe she's really psychic. Aside from that it was an enjoyable show. Just a show about robots that look like humans chasing a fleet of humans to Earth is a lot more believeable.

I didn't know it was based on a real person. I really enjoyed the show. I used to rush home watch it right after work. I was sad when it disappeared but Fox redeemed itself when they started showing Dexter for a while in the mornings and then showing Law and Order....I used to watch Law and Order up to 4 hours a day when I was in college...I LOVED IT and now I'm downloading episodes since I've missed so many episodes from all the different shows...Which one is your favorite? I think I'm torn between Law and Order and Law and Order SVU....

Yeah, I loved Oz the first couple of seasons (didn't catch the rest). That's probably why I watch Prison Break when I catch it on TV...kind of like a distant cousin.

Was Oz the first really gritty drama they started showing on HBO? There are heaps of shows afterwards, but I don't remember anything from before...

I only just started watching Oz myself so I don't know much about it. It has a lot of actors you recognise from other shows and movies.

These days I watch Law & Order SVU with the wife regularly. I'm probably going to show her the original series soon, although I never really saw much of it myself.

Okay, will give Oz a try and look for torrents. Canucksaram suggested Jericho to me few weeks back but it blew chunks and I stopped after episode 4 or 5. No offense to CS at all. Any other good suggestions? I have been waiting a long time for Weeds to come back on... I really enjoyed that show. It was really funny though, that my wife need ebonics translations and her English is nearly perfect. Hell, I needed translations from time to time. Anyone remember that scene in the original "Airplane" with the ebonics tranlsations? Were any of you born when that came out? ha ha...
