Hmm, I see the biggest jerk in Korea is trolling the esl message boards again. This time he is writing a letter under false persona to attract people to his sorry blog. That's a twist.

Get a life.

Whoever created that page should be ashamed. I refuse to read anything with such ugly columns.

I wish I was a self-loving hypocrite who knew he was better than everyone else.
When I'm in my late-40s I can't wait to be teaching English in South Korea because I had no other options back home.
I'm assuming and judging, because you, Stephen Schertzer, assume and judge. Go away.

That "letter" says a whole lot more about Schertzer than the supposed "loser" it purports to represent.

What a f*ckwad.

Why would you write a letter, then hint that you didn't write it, and then say "Wow! Isn't this letter funny?!?!" (ahh..maybe that's the satire part of your letter.)

A better question would be -"I'm thinking of using this for my adult conversation class. Do you guys think this is funny and interesting?"

Because the answer is actually "No".

That article is not appropriate for an adult conversation class.

Pitiful letter to home. The only thing that matches my situation is the 37K of student loans the author mentions. I am glad I have a better situation than that, though confusing at times with how the damned Koreans fail to communicate what they expect, tell you that you are wrong in doing the wrong thing or not doing something at all, telling you the boss is angry over you not doing something expected of you, and then fail to ever admit a mistake on thier part of not telling you something that needed to be told to you. It just demands every bit of inter personal skills I have to keep going, thats all. Other than that, life is better than the letter to home in this thread. Cheers. Smile
