book several different places NOW.
You can cancel your reservations later after you choose your destination. |

okie doke, booked flights to both beijing and manila...which do you reckon would be good for a week for a solo traveller, considering weather and stuff to do?
seems like its pretty easy to get to boracay from manila? |

It is super easy to get to Boracay from Manila.
I reccomend using SEAair or Asian Spirit (because they both fly into Caticlan) and NOT into Kalibo. Kalibo (via PAL or Air Phils) is a 2 hour bus ride from the boat dock at Caticlan (where you catch the 20 minute boat ride over to Boracay)
South East Asian Airlines (SEAair) - they also have some well priced packages to Boracay from Manila (air / transfers / hotel / breakfast)

Boracay is gorgeous i was there in March. The weather should still be good. The beach is fab and there's a tonne of water sport you can do. If you're interested in diving you can go on plenty of dives, go island hopping, snorkelling or just hang out on the beach. We didn't book any accomodation and we got a 2 bed room very near the beach for like $10dollars a night. Super cheap & lots o' fun.
Wouldn't recommend flying into Kalibo as the other user posted. It's a long enough haul from Korea as it is and the 2 hour bus ride is a pain in the ass!! It's worth the extra few bucks to fly to Catilan & jump on the boat. |

August will be as hot as he11 but it should be pretty nice right now. Great time to beat the crowds going to the forbidden city, summer palace, temple to heaven and the great wall. |
