One of the benefits of going to your own place rather than his/hers or a hotel is that you have your own getdown music to drown out the flappa wappa and maybe even inspire a little extra synchronicity.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I've only just heard Mary J. Blige for the first time last night. Godamn I'm tellin ya, I felt like pulling over the car and making love to the CD right there on I-95. Problem is the hole they cut in the middle is too wide, so..

Now I realize MJB is the ultimate. Since the springtime of my youth, I've had various artists who I've felt were the makeout masters. It all started with Sade. She lit it up when I was in high school. Then, I moved on to Sarah McLachlan, who, say what you will about her now, dreamt up Surfacing and Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, both amazing, passionate accoutrements to love. I stuck with Sarah until I discovered 2000ish slow jams via a disc called Summer Heat. Now, that disc has Mary on it, but I didn't pay attention to the artist names on it. But I knew that slow jams was where it's at.

The past few years, I've had no one in particular that's a must listen. The Korean singer Bak Hye Gyeong (박혜경) is good sometimes.

Feel free to share your recommendations for rhythms that get them hips in motion.

Barry White. That guy's music was designed for wooing women. (Does anyone use "wooing" anymore?)

Robert Plant's vocals are real leg openers.

R. Kelly, Remy Shand have all been winners in my book. Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" is a great one as well. Starts off slow and hypnotic, builds to a frenzy in the middle of the album, then tapers off for cuddle friendly stuff. That is, if you haven't kicked her out already.

I've got an extensive collection of sex music.

The two best are:
-pretty well any reggae
-Nouvelle Vague

The weirdest thing I've ever used for sex music was a compilation of white power songs. It felt wrong, so next time I used Judge Dread.

It's all good...I kinda lean more to stuff that makes for good post-coital as well as a good romp, cause I don't wanna get up and change it after. Nothing too mopey tho...
Trancey old-school techno's kinda good...k&d and thievery corps, for example.
Best though is anything that was on the 'Conan' soundtrack...Carmina Burana (or however you spell it) and Ravel's 'Bolero' are so pompous and prancey, they rule to screw to. 'Ride of the Valkyrie' as well is good. Nice to have a laugh when yer humpin, eh.

Can't remember the album title, but it was by the Chipmonks. Actually, anything by the chipmonks is GREAT lovemaking music...

Trouble is, I like to break into song during the most inappropriate love making moments...

I'd like to make love again sometime.........
