I was unpacking some of my winter woolies since as it's starting to get a bit chilly of late. But I discovered that I have two bras that I haven't used yet. Yah! Two new bras for CLG, it's almost like christmas.
So anyone unearthed any important possesions from the depths of their winter wardrobe?

Wheee! The change of seasons is almost like going shopping, isn't it? I just pulled out a soft green hoodie sweater I haven't worn since last winter. I was thrilled. |

The only problem I have now is that none the stuff fits - too big, which I suppose is a good thing to drop a dress size or two. So I may have to do some shopping to fix my current problem, though I'm not enjoying my current entry into the nowomans land of too big for korean stuff to small for my stuff.

I'm in the same place - nowoman's land. Too small for the stuff I brought with me, bits of me too large for Korean clothing. I'm thinking of heading to Itaewon to get some stuff made. Has anyone tried this? Any tailors to recommend? |

I was always happy when I found a washed 10,000 note in my pants pocket. Used to happen quite frequently, but now as I bring my pants and shirts to the cleaners, I make sure to check the old pockets..... |

Two old condoms (from one drunken night last winter when the little guy went down after only 2 shots, pun intended). Wanna set my pair of rqaincotas up on a double date with your pair of bras?
Didn't think so... |

Speaking of bras... I just bought one from Marks & Spencers in the Hyndai Dept Store (cheonho)... first time in Korea I've seen a C cup... (nothing bigger than a C though... sizes up to 38... whatever that means)
Yay me |

EVERYTIME i put on a pair of pants for the first time in a week I find anywhere from 1000W to (this shocked me) 90,000. FElt a bit stupid after that.
I was hitting ROCKS and paying with flesh when i found 30,000W in my wallet one day. That made me quite happy. |

quite the opposite experience for me actually. with winter coming on i find i have lost a lot of clothes.
when i last took a break i stored my things with a friend. when i returned to korea he apologised and said that his room-mate (a canadian called kevin) had rifled through my stuff and taken a few things, before heading off to japan.
the things taken included my handphone, some electric hair clippers, some cd's and books and some clothes. i was mighty peeved.
i left a lot of the remaining clothes in the suitcase.
it has not been cold enough for me to wear long-sleeved shirts and i had no call for one until last sunday when wombat and i were invited to a wedding. because she spent so long in the shower i had to get ready in about 10 minutes. with minutes to spare and a towel around me, rushing up the stairs to the bedroom-loft i threw open my suitcase to get a long-sleeved shirt. i knew that kevin had stolen most of my shirts but i recalled seeing a white one remaining.
but when i lifted it out i found it was a lab-coat! i don't even own a lab coat and cannot think how it got there. perhaps some cruel candian joke.
i went to the wedding in short sleeves. i noticed other people in t-shirts so it didn't matter.
moral - if yu MUST store your stuff in korea, lock it! |

I love finding old clothes I'd forgotten about, but I have to admit I have the problem of having TOOO many things - whenever the seasons change, I feel like I should just get a big garbage bag and throw half my apartment out... |
