For the last several weeks I've been thinking of gettin a pet. I prefer a cat, but not in my soap box of an apartment. Then I saw a ferret [OF - robber] in a local pet store. I was surprised to even find one in Korea and held it for a short time and thought what a great pet it would make.

So I did some online reading/research and I'm dead-set on gettin one now. The only problem is finding one. The one I saw was extremely friendly and energetic, but I questioned it's age and health. It was kept in a birdcage and fed dog food, neither of which is good for a ferret. The pet shop owner really seemed like a shady character and I really wanted to rescue the poor thing, but not for 200,000 won. I guess they go for $100 - $150 back home.

Anyone have exprerience with a pet ferret or seen'em in Seoul?
