Born and raised.. Colorado is OK but the politics blow and there's no ocean. Still, cant beat skiing and a nice drive in the mountains. |

Or, you know you're from Oregon when you wish people would not post such things about Oregon so that we stop getting new residents.
And you know you're from Oregon when you really love not having to pump your own gas. It doesn't affect the gas prices that much, and you never have to get out of your car. It's beautiful. |
Most places you don't have to get out and pump your gas. You just pull up to the full service area, pay 10 to 20 cents more per gallon, and thank your lucky stars you didn't have to get out of your car. And when I was in Oregon, I still had to get out of the car because the gas pumper guy just gave me a bill that I had to pay inside at the register. Soooo efficient. |
well, the beauty of Oregon is that you're NOT paying 10 or 20 cents more to have someone pump your gas (it's the law, not a luxury item), and you can pick and choose which gas stations you go to. I NEVER get out of my car when I pay. You just picked a crappy gas station, is all. |
