So a friend of mine who lives in New Delhia invited me out and I want to go visit for a week. But now.. how do I get there? I am trying to look for some decent tickets, but I keep getting shut down at every corner. Has anyone flown there before? Can you recommend a good travel agent or website?
Thanks |

go to some of the agencies in itaewon and compare prices ... or check the listings in the back of the korea herald.
another option is flying to bangkok and getting a cheap ticket there -- most of the airlines will route you through thailand anyway.
joy travel and marco polo are pretty competitive. |

Have you tried contacting Air India directly or booking on their website?
At this time of year it is probably your best bet. |

Check out this website:
http://www.xanadu.co.kr/eng/index.asp
This agency was the first I located in the country that would actually book a flight to India for me...They are reasonable and you can usually get a ticket no probelm...I don't work for them or have any connection other than when I needed to get to Calcutta for some business...
This link will show you the list of flights and costs I found when I searched their website a few minutes ago...

Good luck and happy traveling... |

asiana flies non stop to delhi but its one of the costliest ones
try thai, or singapore or malaysian
they are the best for india...
asiana will take 6.5 hours and others tht are not direct will take anywhere from 12 to 18 hrs
but cost much less
even air india is cheap, but not recommended (poor service) and it flies via hongkong
for best deals try
