I have a piece of crap Compaq Armada M700 *P2 450mhz* with 6 gig drive (?). TV out (S-Video) with built-in DVD drive. Works great. Will do the job without any drama or fireworks.
No DVD writer though. 256 MB Ram.

1.25 inch thick, magnesium cover, and professional looking.
Deceptively fast on the internet...

Your's for 200,000 Won if you want it. I keep it for surfing, word processing and watching movies. These three functions are excellent, and that's why I'm keeping it. I'm not afraid if someone scratches it or spills crap on it because it is already crap.

Price is non-negotiable as it still has use to me, though it is severely out of date and obselete.

PM if interested.

I had that exact computer (compaq armada 700) and I have to say it was a GREAT laptop...I am acutally sorry that I upgraded to a Dell Inspiron, which is a true piece of crap.

I had the same experience, too. I went and looked at the Dells, and though they were great machines...the Armada seemed to be of a better build all around.

I finally settled for a JVC Airworks MP730 (JVC 7310 *in Korea). Sub-notebook and all metal, it was my substitute for the Armada since Compaq discontinued it and went into the EVO 610v/c world which I didn't like too much - with that shiny plastic WiFI Port on the cover.
