k, so I bought a router the other day to connect my xbox and computer to the net. Initially everything worked fine and I had no problems connecting. I still don't have a problem connecting from the xbox, but I'm starting to have problems from my computer.
The problem seems to be localized to a few websites, namely sportsnet.ca, tsn.ca, at times Torontostar.com and youtube. all other sites work fine but not these ones. initially I thought it was just the websites themselves that were having problems, but after 12 hours, I realized that it must be the router. So I disconnected the router and directly connected the internet to the computer and low and behold, the sites work.
Is there a setting I have to change? Or something else? please help. Thanks |

what is the make and model of the router? It may have a firewall in place which is preventing you from visiting those sites. |
