| I love all this detailed advice on how to fast the 'proper' way. It's like "No, no, no! Everybody knows you should brush your unicorn in a counter-clockwise motion!" |

| Go three days without eating and then down three bottles of soju. Repeat this cycle for three straight weeks. I call this the 333 Diet. Oprah's been calling me. It gets you super ripped. Beyond belief. |

I also find this thread amusing. Very hippyish. Cleansing my ass!
Exercise and healthy eating, anything else is quick fix quackery.
I guess there are a lot of masochists in the closet. |

Yes, he does. He pretends he "is real interested " in the topic , but no matter what evidence you present to him he is not convinced. And some people have said I should get a new hobby!
I am very interested in this thread as I intend to fast and want to know a little more about it. |

Here is myself and Regicide's discussion. Make your own mind up. I thought I asked reasonable questions about it also. I didn't feign interest in either case. In the fasting thread I wanted to learn more but was deeply skepical about it. I was unfair in my original statement but all of my questions were genuine. Tokki seems to think a troll is someone who disagrees wth him. Could you give some other examples of my trolling?
In Regicides case I was genuinely interested but only because I thought Regicide was a complete conspiracy nut and these type of people fascinate me.
Anyway have a look at the above thread and scroll down to where regicide loses it at the end where he claims the US goverment hushed up the London Times paper(with no evidence of this). I still can't believe you think that anything you presented was evidence. this is what I said at the end of our discussion and I stick by it.

I don't really understand. You are telling me that the Sunday London Times lied in this letter? they were put under pressure? this letter was forged?
How could this have been proved long ago if there is as you say "there is no chain of evidence in this case". Normally you need a chain of evidence to prove a case.
What you have here is a loop. You are willing to believe that anything that supports your claims is the truth, and that anything that discredits your claims has been falsified by the conspirators. I'll leave you in there spinning around.
I dont think you will, but you need to think over a few points. How many people were required to do this. Once you figured out how many people are needed, what are the chances of them all staying quiet for 40 years. If your conclusion requires conspirators with incredible power and near complete control over the media and goverment, then you have boxed yourself in.

For those of you who are fasting, I'd be interested in knowing how things are progressing for you...
How do you feel? How long do you intend to fast?
Cheers in advance for sharing.

Yes i too am interested.
Do you manage to do your jobs alright when fasting?
I'm going for a colonic on saturday as a kind of last resort due to some recent health problems that the docs have been unable to remedy. Thing is, it's a friends birthday the same day and an all day drinking session is planned. Is it a particularly bad idea to do some heavy drinking after a colonic? |

What exactly is a colonic? And how is that done? What are your health problems? I may have an idea... I am not exactly fasting, myself, but I haven't had much carbs for the last 10 days, have been having garlic, protein, vegetables, getting more fresh air, pau d'arco tea, and building up my general health and keeping away from alcohol, and I feel like I am much, much better. |

A colonic basically involves sticking a pipe up your ass and having all the shit washed out......supposed to be good for my particular problem. |

So, you are apparently very sick and chose fasting when you probably need all the nutrients you need? You can see how this could be dangerous, right? |

Found that info on the net? Well, here's what I found:

Yup, no medical benefit to it and the more you 'cleanse', the more you need to do it because your body becomes dependent on it.
Pretty much the only time a doctor will prescribe anything to 'cleanse you out' is if someone is constipated or when someone is about to get surgery or give birth (wouldn't want a mess to happen). |

There's nothing wrong with fasting to give your body a rest when it's not functioning properly and wouldn't benefit from food. Colonics are a different story - I can't see the value in that.
What unicorns have to do with all this isn't clear to me - maybe they should be in a different thread? Mods? |

Sure, when you've got no choice like when you've got indigestion or dysentery...but that's not the kind of fasting people are talking about here. |
