I am 26 years old. I don't know many absolutes in life, but what I do know is:

*It doesn't matter where you live, you are happy based on the people you surround yourself with.

*The sounds of waves crashing against the shore never gets old.

*Money does not buy happiness, but it helps your life run a lot smoother if you got it.

*There is no substitute for laughing so hard you have tears streaming down your face, especially when done with family.

Care to share?

I don't believe in absolutes, I believe in being able to swim.

We can't change the tides but we can sure as hell learn how to swim ........

There is absolutely no such thing as an absolute, in other words. Everything is multiple and time woven.

I just finished making a presentation for the teachers I teach. Lots of great "absolutes" there.

I agree wholeheartedly with all but one:

Money causes problems in relationships regarding how to use it. It often doesn't make life run smoother, it only seems so when one gets out of a cash-strapped jam with the paying of bills.

What you state is not an ABSOLUTE but is a relative truth, just as: A simplier way of living is smoother and a lack of funds helps that happen.

Absolutes? Okay...

WE WILL ALL DIE SOME DAY. MOST LIKELY, IT WILL BE PAINFUL.

Ah, a certainty about the future. Your faith.
