|
|
i just rearranged my furniture and moved my tv and cable tv unit. Had to unplug the main cable from the tv but have nowset it all up again BUT surprise surprise i cant get channels to appear
there is a msg in korean which says:
외부입력
if i try and change channels using the remote, a different message flashes up:
외부입력시 셕택불가
what does this mean?
i have a cable tv and internet package, my internet connection has been extremely dodgy over the past couple of days, ever since I heard some tapping outside my window 2 days ago (where the cable feeds in through)........ |

I don't know the Korean words ... but a rough translation of the first lot of words using my computer dictionary (very useful thing) appeared to mean that the problem is with not getting the signal from outside ..
so I think that you will need to talk to the cable company ... or get someone else to (as I need to) to work out what the problem is ... tomorrow...

So I'm not exactly sure what you did but I can tell you what the Korean says
외부입력 - is 'Line in'
so right now you have selected 'line in' on your tv this is usually used for your dvd player or video games depending how you have it hooked up.
The other message
외부입력시 셕택불가 - is 'You cannot select (change channels) while using line in' (more or less)
You probably have a button on your remote that says 'TV/외부입력' try pressing that and it should change it back to normal. You might also have to do the auto channel select thing if you unplugged everything.
Thats about all I can think of.
Hope it helps |
