Platinum outside of exit 8. All you can eat and drink, including 6 microbrews, for 27,000. You won't have an isolated romantic corner, but cream stout and Belgian wheat will get your date in the right mindset.
Reservations recommended as they are usually full.

I'm a big fan of Nolita Italian Restaurant next to the ABC Mart at Gangnam Stn. Extensive wine selection also.
It does get quite busy, but sorry I don't know the phone no. |

Castle Praha is also pretty nice. It's more or less a big Czech beer hall with nice food. It's not the most romantic place in the world as it tends to get a bit loud, but it's always a good time. It's about a block or so away from the station, either exit 5 or 6. Can't remember. |

Kirin right by exit number 6 is worth a visit. It's tastefully decorated and the prices are reasonable. Although it can't compare with Platinum for beer it does a great red rock draught (completely different from the crap you get in Itaewon) for a reasonable price. If you pay a bit more you can get great Japanese beer on tap. Nice food too. Could place when money is tight. |

Pasha, a Turkish restaurant, is at Gangnam St. exit 5. The food is a bit Koreanized, but it's good, and nice atmosphere and decor. |

Black Angus Steakhouse...place rocks.
Also, there's a restuarant called "Union Station" at the Gangnam Finance Center that offers fare from 5 or 6 good restaurants. Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Korean, etc.
I second Nolita for a romantic dinner, though. |

Seoul AND romantic? Wow. When the weather is nice order takeaway and head off to a park. Or south along the rivers near Chungju. |
