Sorry, I know there's a million of 'em, but they're all old and none of them had an answer to my question.

To buy a money order at a bank, apparently you need to bring in your passport. Does this mean that they're going to enter your info into the computer and this money will be on the record? Because I'm going to be making quite a few money orders over the next couple of months, and I don't think it'd be a good idea for them to be on the record.

Any other way to buy money orders? In Canada I know you can buy them at the post office (or at least you could, once upon a time)...

YOu can buy an international money order at most post offices, but you still need your passport. It is more for ID purposes than anything esle, I think.
