I have been looking and looking...and when I get lucky, I find skateboard shops but they don't produce longboards. I'm willing to throw down major cash and am looking for either a store or a used one. I've checked Naver but the few sellers available already sold theirs...and yes, I've looked all over Itaewon (waste of a day) and they don't have it there, nor do they have longboards at Afro in Apgujeong...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated =) |

Welcome the endless asphalt that is Korea!
My wife and I both had decks shipped over, one came from Canada and the other from the States. It costs around 60$ to have a complete set up shipped (my wife just got her custom longboard Larry Otter a couple of days ago). I've spent loads of time looking for stuff in Japan and Korea, but everything I've stumbled across (what little I've stumbled across) is way overpriced...wait, I bought risers from the skate shop in Itewan...and speed cream.
The long and the short of it is, place an order, be patient for a couple weeks and then maintain eye contact with the drivers around you. If you've got anymore questions post 'em up!
Enjoy!

Ok.
So I followed up on all the leads in this thread, and also talked to a local skateboarding group at Madu station. It's mid-July and I still don't have any clue where to buy a longboard in Korea. I would like to try it out before buying so that eliminates overseas orders. Will someone please help??? =( |
