|
|
I was looking over wall-mounted a/c units at e-mart (just for initial price range research) and I was just curious if anyone knows whether the prices on display also include the compressor unit that goes outside your apartment? Or do those have to be purchased separate? Also, do you have to buy the R-22 upon installation or is the unit pre-filled? |

Yes, all of it is included when you buy the A/C. The air handling unit and the compressor. and it already has freon in it. |

I just bought a multi 15pyung+6pyung Samsung Hauzen from GSMart. The price included compressor, freon (built in), and installation. It was very professionally done, I might add. Took about 3 hours with all the drilling and such.
However, you might have to dish out for an "angle" that sits outside to hold your compressor if your apartment doesn't have one built in already. That's about 120K. Also, if you are high in the sky you might have to pay 30-40K for a "danger fee". I didn't have pay either as I'm on a low floor with a built in "angle". |

We have an AC for sale. Indoor free standing unit, with outdoor compressor. Large pyong (30) but doesn't need to be run all the time. A few blasts will do the trick. See add on the Forum below.

Be aware, however, of the installation fees. They can be dear. That's why I opted for a new unit. |

My plan is to buy a portable that has a hose that goes out the window. This way I can take it to a new apartment or sell it without worrying about installation and R-22. |
