Mitt Romney, in the Republican presidential candidates debate last night, said that the reason we went to war in Iraq was that Saddam Hussein would not let weapons inspectors in.

The blind leading the blind.

And this just goes with the point I've been making since the get go -- that in total, this war is a disaster not because it might be for oil. Not because it might be about political power, not because it might be about "payback". This war is a farce from the get go because of the lack of any respect for the truth - the largest truth being LIFE itself. This war is a farce and fiasco because along with little truth and a helluva lot of spin, it has no intelligence and is founded and foundering on the insularity of American knowledge about the world "at large".

The blind leading the blind. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. We will see a lot of those too. In my opinion, won't be much better.
