2 Advils/Ibuprofens and a tall glass of water before passing out.
If you still have a hangover when you wake up, the Alka Seltzer Morning Relief is the perfect hangover cure. |
You are the winner, I believe. One of my friends told me about this one just a few months ago. Tried it and it works. |
I heard its bad for your liver though. Ibuprofens and Alcohol can cause liver bleeding. Either way, its always worked for me. I take 2 advils before passing out and when I wake up in the morning, no headache whatsoever. It doesn't do anything for the chest pains from chain smoking all night, sinus pressure behind your eyes, or the weak stomach. The good thing is you don't have a killer headache. |
I've read somewhere that the odds of that happening with just one or two capsules are close to nil. You'd have to take a much greater dose than that to cause any harm. |

I wrote this somewhere else but those sachets used for dehydration in Africa are the stuff. Drink it with a litre before you go to bed.
Alternatively try a very cold shower, ice cold water and a big duvet afterwards. It always mekes me feel better. Sometimes I almost relish a hangover, waking up with the fur boot and sucking back a bottle of water feels good. |

Of course, the hair of the dog! If timed right you can actually pull this off. say three pints or so over the course of 5 hours. If you go to sleep after that you've got a good chance of being hangover free on the next day. |
