Agreed. I'm sexist and chauvinist. I keep those tendencies under closer check in real life than I do on this board. I wonder which posts of mine provoked this thread. I have a few ideas which.

So nice of you to apologize, but not necessary. If you actually know Kiefer and think he is a "beep" that's ok. What I meant was that people making comments about celebs who they once saw going into a bathroom or somewhere is not very realistic.
As to others here who think my posting has anything to do with jealousy, guess again and think deeper. I really do not like the sexist and racist attitudes shown by numerous posters and to vote those posters as "most valuable" seems trite. Certainly, a poster like Ttompatz is deserving, and a few others who offer sage advice. In my case, I neither want nor crave the attention of the great unwashed masses that normally post their drunken ramblings on this site, inanely replying to any and all posts. This is a site for teachers, not the plumber's union. |

I never said that Jongnoguru was a racist. Sexist and Chauvinist are not racist. Mysogynistic maybe.

This has to be the lamest pick up attempt I've ever seen on Dave's. Grade school stuff. "Oh I like this boy so I'm going to be mean to him! Oh lookee he noticed me!" Knee high if you want the ol' hot beef injection, a tumble with a guy who isn't one of us slovenly go nowhere teacher types, use ALL the furniture with a guy just like your daddy, yes, you picked a fine candidate. But, lord, girly. Get some balls and just ask the guy on a date or something.
Jesus, I've seen 12 year old Korean boys with more savvy picking up on the opposite sex than the mindless twit (actually sub in another vowel between W and T) we have here. |

Well Clint Xerxes (bipolar?) I don't mean they have nothing to contribute. But I am posing the question of why a teacher would hang around a house-painter's site; or why a charcoal artist would waste time on a "jesus appeared on my grilled-cheese sandwich site".
My only question is why do people who have no obvious relationship to ESL teaching in Korea want to hang out on this board??? And, specifically I was asking if that means that they think it is cool to be associated with ESL teachers in Korea. Can the question be plainer? Yoboseyo? Are you Xerxes or pre-1960 Eastwood? |
