Could anyone recommend a good book on English grammar that's written in English? Specifically, I'm looking for a book that will help me be a better English teacher.
I plan on taking a class on basic grammar before I leave for Korea, but I wouldn't mind having a book or two to read as well.
Thanks! |

I recommend the following book to help you:
Grammar for English Language Teachers
Learning Teaching
Those books are my bibles for teaching English and always keep them close to learn more about teaching specific grammar points. |

The Learning Teaching book is an excellent resource, although I've got the newer edition, which has 200+ more pages.
For grammar, I've found this to be the most (688 pages) comprehensive. |

I agree with BS.Dos.. Michael Swan's Practical English Usage is the best grammar reference you can have.
