Completely sober, i decided it was nice enough to walk home from a friend's house Saturday night, at about 1:15am.
I was admiring the sight of a very thin crescent moon that was rising just above the horizon.
Then I suddenly saw a bright green sphere and trailer falling down from the southeast sky. It was similar in color to a trafiic light green, and as it fell, orange-yellow flares or sparks burnt off of it.
At first i thought it was a firecracker, but it travelled down in a straight line, until it disintegrated. It made no sound.
I was wondering if anyone else saw it. |

I recall from college learning that if you see a green tail then it isn't rocky, it's metal, a satellite or space junk. Apparently there's a lot up there these days. Over Daegu,... was it in the east? perhaps a controlled dropping into the sea. |

Yeah, when I saw the sparks flying off, as it burnt out, i got the feeling it was some kind of space junk. So no wishes were made. |

Could it have been something from the nearby U.S. or Korean millitary bases? |

Well, that area is nothing but mountains. The bases are in the city and to the west. |
