|
|
Well, my transition continues, and this time I'm not taking the very first thing that comes my way. (Gotten a few offers though.)
Every job advertisement I see on ESLcafe and on Craigslist gets me in touch with a recruiter. Is there a way to talk directly tot he the school's themselves?
For that matter, if I see a specific town I want to live in, is there a way to find out what schools are there, or find out if their public school system has job openings? |

| I have never used a recruiter. There are plenty of ads on Dave's & elsewhere that are direct from schools/hagwons/unis. |

| What are some other good links besides Dave's? And what about checking for jobs within one community? |

Unless you can speak, read and write korean or have someone who can AND you are in Korea you will probably need a recruiter.
Just make your wants very clear and ignore anything that does not meet your specifications.
A recruiter is nothing more than an introduction and a translator between you and your potential new employer.
Use them for what they are and move on. |
