I'm going to be in China (Beijing, Tianjin) for several weeks this summer and I was wondering about booking a side-trip to a South East Asian country, probably Thailand or Vietnam.
Is it really cheap to book a return flight from China? (say for example, Beijing -> Bangkok -> Bejing, or possibly Tianjin -> Ho Chi Minh -> Tainjin?)
Does anyone know of any Chinese travel agents with english websites that I could check fares on? (Do they have travel agents like we have in Korea)?

The best bet is to find a travel agent while you are in Beijing. I had some friends last year fly to Bangkok from Guangzhou and spent two weeks in Thailand. They only paid about 500.00 for the whole trip. Prices are cheaper in China than the rest of the world. |
