I read the article and listened to the interview and I don't feel outraged.
I honestly think that his statement about "tarting up" the news was right and it wasn't directed exactly at Curic. I think he was referring to how the format had changed to talk about celebrities and such in an attempt to get more viewers. It has basically been dumbed down to the lowest common denominator and unfortunately they decided to wait until they had a female lead anchor to do it.... |

I dont watch TV and its been a while since Ive seen Curic on TV, but from what I remember she was always a dumb ditz....did something change? |

Or maybe BECAUSE they have a female lead anchor they decided to do it!
