Those of you that are Americans and have been at your current job since January 2005, please check with your employer about 2005 tax returns. Something hit me and I realized, "we got 2006's tax return, what about 2005?" So, I checked with my school and lo and behold, they owe me (and my wife) about 900,000WON. So, we'll be getting that soon.

I feel bad because the treasurer is going to look like an idiot now. I am sure he didn't do it on purpose, but man, the boss is going to be like "900,000WON? Shocked WTF?"

yeah it was a nice surpirse when i got 2.500.000 won back in taxs aswell

didn't even expect that (i got it back for other reasons then teaching Smile)

i've heard of this before - but what dif does it make if i'm at the same employer or not?

should i just contact my old school and tell them where i am and where to send my refund? Very Happy Very Happy

any other suggestions?
