Nice choice about the weather! That would be sooo nice. But wouldn't that strip them of some national pride? Then they would only have 2 seasons like the rest of the world...  |

Stop importing kimchi and make it the old way!!!!!! Man, I miss good old-fashioned homemade kimchi! I tired of having to steal my friend's mother's or grandmother's kimchi from her fridge.
(Do they really import kimchi from China? If it's true oh, was a disgrace Korea!) |

| I would make sure that every Korean realized just how unimportant their country is. Cuz, aside from their nationalistic "we're so great.... look at the miracle... look at our 'world stars'" crap, Korea is actually a decent place. |

| Make browsing more free without the hassle of dealing with salespeople asking, "Is there anything you're looking for?" the minute you walk into a shop. I would change the whole "slave to a customer" approach and "you're a scum since you didn't buy anything from our shop" mentality. |

Ha ha! I live in LA and there are a couple places here that come pretty close to the real thing, but nothing beats walking into a pizza joint in NYC and grabbing a slice of NY's finest cheese! Yum! |

Good point! Whenever I shop in Koreatown here in LA (which is very rarely), I receive dirty looks from the salespeople if I browse and don't buy anything. Not to mention, I'm constantly pressured to buy something that I clearly don't want or need! However, I do like to bargain...  |

I'm Korean-American, but I'll be the first to admit that Korean people can be rude, hot-tempered, stubborn, arrogant, superficial, intolerant, ignorant and judgmental...and that's just the tip of the iceberg! Maybe that's why I don't really hang out with them here in LA even though I know a ton of Korean people. My sister and brother are quite the opposite - nearly all their friends are Korean. Go figure.
Anyway, we (ethnic Koreans) are not all bad, but the stereotypes about Koreans exist for a reason. Interestingly enough, the Japanese have a reputation for being very polite and respectful towards others, yet in private, they can be just as arrogant and judgmental of others as Koreans are. Hmph. |
