The thread's original content and title had nothing to do with it. As the mod said, it was a few posters taking shots at each other and posting PMs on the forum that did it.

As someone else just said, the thread degenerated from something to nothing. No loss.

Maybe we can revive it, on track, here?

I'm noticing lots of Korean women showing their shoulders and lower necklines (still no cleavage, but a step in the right direction). Is this because of this "v-line" trend right now?

I didn't see this last year... anyone else notice this.

See...I'm confused.

I thought the v-line was about the face. There's a commercial for hmm corn water or some crap where they yap on about the v-line face...

Someone like to clarify?

Same, I'm definitely noticing a little more shoulder/upper chest this year compared to last year.

Well, if it's not just me noticing this and it really is a trend, it's a big change in just a year. I wonder: what would have brought about this in such a short time?

I can't speak for any other parts of the country, but the people in Seoul are fashion slaves. Two winters ago I saw Burberry EVERYWHERE. It was a running joke among friends. Then, this past winter, I barely saw it at all. I mean, it was still around, but not to the "look in any direction and you'll see it" level it had been the year before. If the trend is to show a little more upper-body skin, the females of Seoul will heed the call unerringly.

Still no pictures?! I guess it's up to me, then ...

(These pictures were taken this June at the 44th Daejong Film Awards.)

I mentioned misogyny earlier, but I guess I should also comment on the extreme, over-the-top racism that's been allowed to go on recently. Not to mention the unbelievable amount of homophobia ... really, at this point I doubt locking a thread or two would be enough to clean up the site.

If it isn't already, that should be a slogan for a push-up bra company.

I agree wholeheartedly with the fashion slave thing. I've never seen trends hit so hard and fade so fast, and I have a bit of a theory as to why.

The trends that hit here are usually at least one or two years behind Europe, Japan, and the US. (anyone else been noticing a lot of arm socks recently?) People have seen the styles for a while and liked them, but were afraid to break rank. Once a celeb or mogul gives the green light there's a mad rush to make up for lost time, and by the time you finally get to sport it half the people around you are doing the same and the "season" is over. Must be frustrating.
