Yeah, you ought to bring that to the attention of someone at your school and take a stand about not using them. My coworkers were absolutely clueless when I explained to them why blackface is inappropriate (see the roleplay for Grade 6, chapter 1).

Anyway, so much of the available animations are garbage. It made prepping for kindergarten that much more difficult. You can poke around Yahoo Korea for alternatives. http://kr.play.kids.yahoo.com/eng/ There's gotta be a site that isn't geared for EFL learners, though, but is rather aimed at English-speaking infants. That'd work better.

Man. Those two videos are funny, like some racist jokes are funny, but they would be the last animations I would use as teaching material to kinders.

Video 1 Message: If you see a native wearing traditional garb, throw rocks at them or punch them and they will leave.

Video 2 Message: If you step in a dog turd, it's not your fault, it's the dogs fault, feel free to kick it in the head many times, it will soon learn no to poop in it's own enclosure.

The 'Indians' look more like Maori to me. I used to work at Te Puia, a huge Maori cultural centre in Rotorua, we got bus loads of Koreans everyday. I can just picture some little Korean monster throwing a rock at 130kg warrior performing a wero because he saw it in a flash animation.

I just watched it again to get the captions. It's interesting (if anyone can provide better translations, please do).

First the Indian says '나가라 우리땅에서 (This is our land so get off!)'

Then the (Korean?) tourist says '꼬마야 까불지 마라 (Hey baby, don't get so worked up)' as he raps him on the head.

Then he starts picking them off with his slingshot. Yeah, don't get worked up about us coming here to great have sport killing and subjecting you, dude.
