| What Id really love to see is a good animated movie though. With the characters looking like they should but really high level animation. I do hope this brings back the toys though.... |

Yup, opens here on the 28th, a week before North America although Italy supposedly gets the world premiere.
The characters in the movie will be : OP, Bumblebee,Jazz, Ironhide, and Ratchet
Decepticons: Megs (Hugo Weaving WTF?!), Starscream, Scorponok, Brawl, Frenzy, Barricade, Bonecrusher, Blackout.
I really don't have high hopes for the film but for me it's mostly a nostalgic thing, I have seen the robot models and they are hella ugly. But hey, hearing Peter Cullen on the big screen again is enough to draw a tear from my eye |
Supposedlyy there was a showing in Seoul last week. The director even showed up. First showing in the world.
OP, Bumblebee, Ironhide and Ratchet?! Man, thats not many Autobots. They should have atleast 10 Autobots and 10 Decepticons, and way less humans. I hope the robots actually look like the ones from the animated series but Ive seen some of the trailers and they do kinda look ugly.... |
Check out the wiki article, it explains why Bay et al. decided to make them fugly and a lot more of the strange decisions they made (less autobots, not including Megs original voice actor, dissing out Stan Bush's new themes, etc.)

| The toys nowadays are cheap plastic and overpriced. I remember the die-cast metal transformers of the 80s. QUALITY! |

Oh they've been re-releasing some of the toys over the past 5-6 years now. Got pretty much all of 'em now, had to make up for my parents not buying me OP and Megatron |

They actually MADE a Gobots film?
Might have to track it down sometime |
Just to cash in on the Transformers movie that was about to be released and would turn out to be amazingly better.

Am I etting this right? Megatron is a JET in the movie?!!?! WTF?! Why not do something like a Galvatron where he still turns into a gun but doesnt have to be held..thats kinda stupid.
Bumblebee as a CAMARO?!
Also, no morphing in the movie...that blows. |

| If you're really into the toys (ahem..."action figures") then pick some up next time you're in Japan. They seemed to be a lot larger than the ones in the states. I got Starscream a couple of years back for around $25...too bad it was a gift! |

in KOREA?! Where do you buy them in Korea?! Ive been looking all over. |
No no, I bought most of them when I lived in Japan.
You can get them imported to your place here in Korea or in the US/Canada if you want:
tfsource.com
hlj.com
bigbadtoystore.com
agesthreeandup.com
most of them are all now sold out/ OOP so your best bet would be eBay |

Soundwave.
He's got the 6 cassette-bot henchmen, that's like a mini-army in itself.
Plus that voice.

That pisses me off to no end. Are there no beat-up yellow Volkswagen Beetles for them to use? |

| Gobots SUCKED. I knew they sucked and I was 10. Gobots compared to transformers are a joke. Not only as far as characters go but the complexity of the mythology. Actually for an animated series the Transformers had a really complex mythology, lots of characters and storylines. |
Yeah, they were pretty bad. |
