What shots do you need?

Most (ALL???) Korean doctors can speak enough MEDICAL ENGLISH to deal with your imunization shots. Just show your medical booklet / ARC to get past the non-english speaking staff at the front desk. If you have NHIC the doctors visit is only 3000 won + the cost of the shots.

Things like Hep A, Hep B, DPT, MMR, Japanese Encephalitis, Polio, etc.
Malaria prophylaxis is also available and these terms are all understood by doctors here and every clinic / hospital I know of carries these as stock items.

You are aware that there is no effective vaccine for adults for things like TB, Dengue fever, Bird influenza and that the rabies series is long and expensive.

Having said all that, the doctor at the Seoul clinic (4th floor in the building next to the BON Hospital) at Seohyun station speaks fair English. There are also English speaking staff at the Bundang Jaeseng Hospital at Seohyun.

There are also great English speaking staff at the Aju University Hospital in Suwon (on the 720, 720-1 and 720-2 bus routes from Suji).
